She was a practicing throat surgeon and quit to focus on whole health approach holistic functional medicine because she saw through the modern medical industry approach of siloed treatment (multiple specialist doctors treating the same patient and never talking to each other) with the goal of “eating what you kill”, ie sell expensive drugs or perform expensive invasive procedures to rectify symptoms (and maximize profits) instead of treating the root cause and/or preventing it in the first place.
She has the knowledge of the dire need to transform the entire medical industry to put healthy patients at its center instead of maximizing profits for big pharma, doctors, and hospitals.
