Posted by TrueTiger on 11/14/18 at 7:33 am260
This man is a model and inspiration for ALL kids black or white of how to work your way up from nothing.
But the NPC police don't want this kind of role model.

Name change eyed for Benjamin Carson High School
quote:
The Detroit school board voted Tuesday to begin the process for renaming several buildings in the district, including the Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine.
quote:
Lemmons cited the neurosurgeon’s name being added when the district was under an emergency financial manager, saying some residents objected to Carson representing the city.
Residents “don’t support the (Trump) administration,” he said.

It's Detroit... I am sure they can find a mini drug lord to name their schools after.

Honest to God, we are no longer under any obligation to treat anyone on the Left with any degree of respect or civility....they have become terrorists.

Not even then. If they were honest it would be "My black life matters"

Let’s look at Ben Carson’s resume shall we?
Carson's SAT college admission test scores ranked him somewhere in the low 90th percentile, which according to him resulted in a Detroit Free Press article "Carson Gets Highest SAT Scores in Twenty Years" of any student in Detroit public schools.
Carson was accepted by Yale and offered a full scholarship covering tuition, room and board.[67][68] In 1973, Carson graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Yale
In the summers following his high school graduation until his second year in medical school, Carson worked at a variety of jobs: as a clerk in the payroll office of Ford Motor Company; supervisor of a six-person crew picking up trash along the highway under a federal jobs program for inner-city students; a clerk in the mailroom of Young & Rubicam Advertising; assembling fender parts and inspecting back window louvers on the assembly line at Chrysler; a crane operator at Sennett Steel; and finally a radiology technician taking X-rays.[75] At Yale, Carson had a part-time job on campus as a student police aide.[76]
Carson entered the University of Michigan Medical School in 1973
Carson graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School with an M.D. in 1977, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.[70]
Carson was then accepted by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine neurosurgery program, where he served one year as a surgical intern and five years as a neurosurgery resident, completing the final year as chief resident in 1983.[82] He then spent one year (1983–1984) as a Senior Registrar in neurosurgery at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia.[83]
After medical school, Carson completed his residency in neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
Upon returning to Johns Hopkins in 1984, Carson was appointed the university's Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery.[87] As a surgeon, he specialized in traumatic brain injuries, brain and spinal cord tumors, achondroplasia, neurological and congenital disorders, craniosynostosis, epilepsy, and trigeminal neuralgia.[88]
In 1994, Carson and his wife started the Carson Scholars Fund, which awards scholarships to students in grades 4–11 for "academic excellence and humanitarian qualities".[193]
Recipients of the Carson Scholars Fund receive a $1,000 scholarship towards their college education. It has awarded 6,700 scholarships.[193][194] In recognition for his work with the Carson Scholars Fund and other charitable giving throughout his lifetime, Carson was awarded the William E. Simon Prize for Philanthropic Leadership in 2005.[195]
Carson is a member of the American Academy of Achievement,[218] Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society,[219] and the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans.[220] Carson has been awarded 38 honorary doctorate degrees and dozens of national merit citations.[221]
But yeah...Ben Carson isn’t the kind of role model for Detroit kids. We’d rather have Eminem tell em how to do things.

This is much needed. Seriously, who wants to go to Uncle Tom's High?

Berry Gordy School Of Music and the Jerome Bettis Transportation Service will remain, though.
Sounds like the name was put on the school in the middle of the night.
Also the article says that the renaming is in exploration stages. No decision has been made.

Dude literally makes a Blue Print on how to get out of Poverty and violent neighborhoods and they wanna eat him alive for his success.
Its an absolute disgrace to this man.

That's wrong--but when does Detroit get anything right
Thats the climate though we hate people if they don't believe what we want them to. I heard of war heroes getting
trashed over political views. #SAD

The school was named after Carson when Detroit was under carpetbagger Republican control after it was forced to declare bankruptcy and have a Republican imposed government.
You would think white Southerners would sympathize with that.

You never miss an oppurtunity to be a partisan dickhead , do you.
Here's one for you. If some Republican school board "explored" changing the name of Barrack Obama High School in Chicago, I would be offended by that and state it here, because that kind of behavior isn't right. You don't take away an honor like that because you disagree with the man's politics. It isn't like were talking about Tiger Woods here and everyone's like "oh shite, he's not a role model after all"
You need your arse beat in the worst way.
