Not only this^ but wasn't it reported X number of millions of persons cut from the dependency on govt. due to economic boom? So that foreign concept of Logic applied would result in: fewer people = less need for money = budget cut.

Think of it as everyone on the public teat sitting in a room, each with their own chair.
Now remove 10% of the people in the room to roam the sunny fields and beaches on their own.
Can now take away 10% of the chairs in the room and everyone inside is still seated in their own chair.
In this example, chairs = $ = budget

This should no doubt outrage all the newfound deficit hawk dems.
