When I hear Walker he doesn't seem ready for job as a US Senator. Not much depth of knowledge on policy issues when interviewed as of yet. Hoping he can take it seriously and get up to speed quickly.

Of course Rafael Warnock doesn't know shite about the policy issues that are / will be before the US Senate either although the media covers for him. He never had to once actually articulate any depth of knowledge during the 2020 run. It was 100% platitudes.

Between the two give me Hersel all day every day of course. But is he the best R candidate to take on Warnock? Will he be able to win in a increasingly blue state because he is the legendary Hershel Walker?

Have you seen who is in the Senate right now?

Walker would be a massive upgrade. We don't need anymore typical politicians

Sure have. I actually named him in the OP.

Agree and no doubt I'll vote for him against Warnock. Have you heard Walker discuss his policy views and plan? Just being honest, it sounds pretty shallow at this point. Of course he is not a politician so can certainly understand that he isn't up to speed on everything going on right now for which he will be expected to bring informed insight (or at least make informed votes on) if he gets the job. My question really is can he make the impression needed to win the race?

If a former Auburn coach can get elected in Alabama, I kind of like Herschel’s chances in Georgia.

Herschel Walker shows the unseriousness of the GOP as a party.

Compared to which party?

Whats unserious about a well-spoken, educated free thinking black man? Sounds like a typical democrat viewpoint. Get back on the plantation boy!

As opposed to AOC, Omar, Tlaib, etc.?

I have no problem calling a pox on both their houses. Apparently, you don’t.

You're worried about Walker's policies, and yet the Georgia voting system is one of the most corrupt in the US. But Walker's policies are your main concern?

It's like this guy thinks only those in the ruling class are allowed to run for office. He must be a troll.

I think elections are meaningless and gay and the entire system needs to be replaced.

But let's talk about Walker's policies. Does Herschel think it's constitutional for a non politician to run for office?

I'm good with non-pols running, but I'm not sure Herschel is cut out for this.

Of course. He is running to be a US Senator to initiate and vote on laws/policies that matter to me.

Okay yes the shite that goes down with Georgia voting sucks and needs to be fixed. Seems like a weird thing to bring up in this thread about the US Senator race though. A US Senator is pretty far down the list of people that can do something about Georgia’s voting shenanigans.

I can be and am concerned about many things at once actually. For purposes of this thread, however, my main concern would be Walker’s ability to beat Warnock which I absolutely want to happen and the country absolutely needs to happen. Concern about Walker’s policies (and his ability to connect with the voters about those policies in the upcoming campaign) would be a related but secondary concern to the main concern articulated above.

But your boy just runs over his woman in his car. You are a fricking idiot if you don't think Warnock doesn't beat on his woman. I forget, you get your news from CNN/MSNBC and the alphabets. You're a lost cause, stay on the white mans' democratic plantation, boy.

And you can't bring that up if Herschel is running against him

F off troll.

Walker is light years ahead of Warlock in ethics, business and being an all around good person. You can't hold a candle to #34.

I will crawl over broken glass to vote for him.

Gary Black will make a very good Senator and has been endorsed now by 60 sheriffs and a host of republicans.

Walker will have to beat Black in the primary before meeting Warnock.

Black would beat Warnock easily.
