Same as if there were party primaries. Your guy might not make the general election (for example, Tater Tot got the R nomination here).

Dude, it’s called a jungle primary. It isn’t THAT hard to understand or participate in. We need every vote we can get to oust JBE. You may not like Rispone, but he is very very similar to trump in 2016. I’m sorry your guy didn’t win. In 2016, my guy Cruz, didn’t win either. I still voted for trump because HRC was not an option.
