No Link needed to realize that Healthcare is big re Dem electoral politics. Where is Trump's strategy Team? Why do they totally ignore the fact that the massive immigration from SA with very sick people will massively affect the Healthcare of our Citizenry. This needs to be front and center for the Midterms.

I'm all for compassion, but we had better be realistic, or else we'll all pay a heavy price re the quality of our own care.

Healthcare elephant in the room is old people not accepting death and spending massive resources to stay alive a few months longer.

Trump should force the dem's hand.

Senators who are for taking these people in should have these illegals processed and placed in their states. Any of them caught outside those states will result in a $100k fine to said state and that money will be placed in a fund for BP and ICE for new tech asset acquisition

This is a bigger problem than immigration. But that doesn't mean we should ignore one problem because another is a bigger. I'd rather take care of old Americans than take care of the worlds poor.

So, you ignore the real point of the REAL COST re Immigration, and advocate a System which allocates value to an Individual, based on their current positive/negative contribution to Society...amirite, DG? Will your Economic Premise apply to both young and old?

If so, when do we crank up the 'oven's for all the YOUNG heathens who drain our System with crime, personal irresponsibility (having kids they expect others to pay for and/or incarcerate) and exponentially grow and VOTE for a Marxist/Fascist confiscation of the wealth that PRODUCTIVE Citizens have acquired? Let me guess, they young heathen get a pass.

The "old people" of the whom you denigrate/devalue...PRODUCED AND PAID, according to MERIT-based Law. Not that merit has any value in you Egalitarian Marxist Worldview.

Mother Nature will handle this conundrum. Merit rules, sooner or later. Just minus the Compassion.

My point stands; Trump had best get this issue of Immigration-Healthcare into the mix. The People deserve to know, and vote accordingly.

Agree to an extent. Big difference is many of those old people paid in hundreds of thousands to the “system” over their lives as working Americans.

A sign that we're losing this battle: Even on this board it's being referred to as immigration, not illegal immigration.

Legal immigrants don't bring in diseases because they're screened and then treated if necessary. Illegal aliens penetrate deep into the country carrying TB, polio and other diseases that we once had eliminated in the U.S. or had under control.

I heard that some School had to closed for a week to deal with a communicable disease; one that we haven't seen in this Nation for decades.

The introduction of this Immigration/Healthcare angle into the Midterm electoral dialogue would be profound. Of course the Left would melt and label it as fear-mongering. Won't matter.

The majority of old people have actually contributed something to this country. If this is truly how you feel, then your disdain should be focused on children. Outside of a small handful, they have contributed nothing.
