I have listened to many of his podcasts - don't recall ever thinking "that's not right" about anything substantive.

The problem I have with Ben is he is 100% for Ben. He saw a chance to be edgy and leave Breitbart using Trump as a reason and to promote his new site. Ben will say the right things to get where he wants but will use any chance as a stepping stone to show the NEOCON's that he is on their side.

In my book he is worse than Lemon or Fredo

No wonder our party has been struggling since 2017. I have my issues with Ben, mainly around his allegiance to Israel and his thoughts on foreign policy. However, Trumpkins infatuation with ostracizing anyone with conservative principles that doesn't think 100% like the president is ridiculous. Especially a guy who connects very well with the younger demographic that the GOP has struggled with.

You might want to roll that clock back a few decades.

You are talking about the party that gave us McCain and Romney and the same party that made it their goal to destroy the Tea Party and put us in endless wars.

That’s where the money is.

It’s also a safe position.

Haven’t seen that myself. But maybe I’m a “neocon” ??

All I know I agree with his moral and logical stances almost completely.

I cannot ask for more than that. Regardless of others’ opinions.

I'm talking about its trouble with connecting to the American people.

I don’t know or care anymore what any of these terms mean: conservative, liberal, neocon, racist, SJW, environmentalist, etc etc

We are all being manipulated.

Zionist that is upset that Bolton is ousted and won't protect his precious Israel-first beliefs. Poor baby.

I think that is your problem.

The GOP is finally connecting with the people that belong to that party. The NEOCON's of the party killed the Tea Party, The Tea Party took over the NEOCON's party and gave it hope.

Sorry you don't connect with that vision of America.

You can say whatever you'd like, but you can't dance around the fact we were shalacked in the midterms by literal socialist. But, hey, it's obvious a majority of you guys have felt the drug of large government and spending and feel there's no need to actually be conservative by definition anymore.

It's futile talking with many of you that can't stay on one point for more than one post. I'll never understand the, "frick Conservatives!!!1" movement that happens on this board many times.

There’s two sides to the story. I love Trump, but I don’t think he is impervious to criticism. Usually I think Shapiro is a little to hard on trump, but this time I think it is important to hear him out. Bolton is not a bad guy, I just think the personalities did not mix.

You moved the goal posts. It's not my fault I refused to play the new game.

You said Trump supporters were killing the party since 2017. Now you want to bring being conservative into it.

So answer me this. If Ben is a conservative then why is he supporting Bolton?

I hate when Shapiro says that he’s basically libertarian.
He’s so extremely far from libertarianism

So many binary posts about Shapiro. I’ve listened to his podcast daily for a few years now. IMO, he is wrong in his approach to foreign policy - he’s way too hawkish for my tastes. He also gets way too worked up over some of Trump’s tweets sometimes instead of just laughing them off as master trollery.

But Shapiro is spot on in his social and cultural commentary. He may be the biggest anti-abortion advocate in the mainstream. He gets way too much sh*t here.

I said the ones like you that despise conservatism are killing the party. I am a huge Trump supporter myself, just not to the level of which I can't form a coherent thought for myself.

He doesn't claim that in the slightest. He claims libertarian positions on certain things like the government's role in marriage.
