This is a special kind of bullshite. Dude was gnawing on speedballs in the back of the cop car and they’re having to double and triple down that America is racist
He ate a bunch of drugs just like he did when he got arrested in 2019.

Eh, I agree but I think you can make a semi compelling argument that douchebag white druggies get gentler treatment. I'm not sure I think it's a major disparity any longer, but it's probably something I could do with a straight face, albeit probably needing to cherry pick some data.
As far as police-involved deaths go, it's one of the few where you can objectively look at it and see where an emotional reaction might be justified.
I'd argue the immediate successor shootings, Brooks and Blake, were more absurd in terms of reactions.
