No one really can. It's a he said she said situation.

However it's not unfair to recognize the timing and the fact that McTrutle spent $30 million freaking dollars to defeat him during the primary. And anyone with a half thinking brain knows McTrutle spent some of that $30 million on opposition research that is obviously being used truthfully or untruthfully now because McTurtle hates Moore.

No comment is probably the most non-hysterical choice of words....every one once accused is always guilty by hearsay in the court of public opinion, particularly by the moralists of the media left.

TBH, if they can force Moore out and replace him with Mo Brooks I'd take that deal ALL DAY LONG.

This is a coordinated effort to get rid of Moore. Local news media is going after him. I've been seeing this bullshite run across my twitter feed all day from bitches at local news stations.

Here is me when I was 14. A lot of women have been posting pictures of them at 14 years old using #MeAt14 to speak out about the allegations against Roy Moore. @LaurenScharfTV will have more tonight on @waff48

No one is going to come out and defend him just in case the allegations turn out to be real. If someone backed him and then hard evidence is found, then his backers will be committing political suicide.

Roy is either A) guilty- and will drop this suit or B) innocent- and will pursue this lawsuit with WaPo after the election.

Even if the allegations are true, one statewide elected official in Alabama said it's "much ado about nothing."

“There is nothing to see here,” Alabama State Auditor Jim Ziegler told the Washington Examiner. “The allegations are that a man in his early 30s dated teenage girls. Even the Washington Post report says that he never had sexual intercourse with any of the girls and never attempted sexual intercourse.”

quote:

“Take the Bible. Zachariah and Elizabeth for instance. Zachariah was extremely old to marry Elizabeth and they became the parents of John the Baptist,” Ziegler said choosing his words carefully before invoking Christ. “Also take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus.”

“There’s just nothing immoral or illegal here,” Ziegler concluded. “Maybe just a little bit unusual.”

Uh Yeah. CNN dug up quite a few grubs over the last several days. There was the Joseph/Mary guy—some state official. The “it’s all good as long as he repented” older lady from a couple of nights ago. And the “who are these womens [sic] and why are they talking now” bubba.
