Has any sitting President’s private residence been searched by the Department of Justice?

Zero that I am aware of, even Nixon. We can include any federal investigatory or policing unit in this for predating the DOJ.

This seems completely unprecedented and should be (re: would be if it was an R) the biggest story in the world and warrant intense media coverage.

no.

and it is also unprecedented for DOJ to write a letter to a Presidents lawyers telling them to go get classified documents here, there oh and here,

And look over here...

and P.S. don't read them.

It is such bullshite.

The DEMs are numb to anything true....especially when it hurts their narrative.

It is truly amazing how America has let MAJOR issues be ignored by this administration....it is obvious that most people in this country just don't care!

DEMs love the losers who hate this country....

You’re very probably right, but not by way of actual prosecution of anything, and rather by way of beating the snot out of his political viability. Thus leading Biden to himself bow out, particularly out of consideration for 2024.

The Deep State is flexing its muscle. Making sure elected politicians know who is in charge.

It should be. Somehow the DOJ has become a 4th branch of government, it seems.

Somebody needs to start looking at Obama and his warehouse in Chicago. No telling what's in there. The national archives agency is as corrupt as the doj.

As a Republican, I side with Biden on this one. No search of a sitting President.

It's comeuppance for TDR. Had the Biden DOJ not blown it's wad on overdue library books at Mara Lago, this story would never have been reported, not even by conservative media, because the whole premise is so dumb.

Delicious irony.

I think younger mistaking a constitutional republic for a monarchy.
