25 years from now can we expect the losing party of every election to do nothing except obstruct the efforts of the president to do anything?? And instead of doing anything, spend their time trying to figure out a way to put anybody who supports the in power party in jail?? Seriously...never seen anything like this garbage...but damned if it isn't tempting to give the Dems a taste if they ever manage to get another president elected.....

I'd like to see a viable third party but the sniping would ratchet up a notch if it happened I'm afraid.

No. Following Trump's Presidency we can expect the left and right to return to agreeing on all policy.

Note: Chicken, you'd be wise to start a Victim's Board. It would pull about 90% of regular poliboard posters.

The Repubs were very much obstructionists and this board cheered them on.

Well, if it weren't for terrible ideas , democrats would have no ideas. But I think this poster is talking about using the power of the state to criminalize politics.

LOL We have people who claim to be an R or a D, but they are all the same. Worthless tax and spend assholes with no accountability.

Congress was never meant to be a “rubber stamp” for the president. For some reason, this generation of media and politicians believe they should be, and when they aren’t they label it “obstructing”.

I can agree with that. They major difference now compared to the past is there is a complete lack of respect all around and less willingness to compromise.

It's not like he was using government agencies to audit his political opponents out of business or anything...

What the liberals have been doing the last two years is much more over the top than just being obstructionists.

R's didn't spend every second trying to get Obama impeached.

Liberals will mess up this country to the point of no return.

Didn’t you notice Obama’s pen and phone?

You must have missed this; how convenient!

The precedent was started with the Whitewater witch hunt of Bill Clinton. An investigation of a land deal 10 years prior leads to a house impeachment seven years later.

Damn hard to top that crap.

Newt really ramrodded that mess. Now look for it for every president. Thanks GOP...

Is this an ignorant whataboutism? A whataboutism that isn’t based in reality? The rare fake news whataboutism? Those are my favorite whataboutisms!

Haha, if Obama and/or Clinton were investigated to the level that Trump is a whole lot more charges would be brought than decades old bank/tax fraud and paying off a couple of women to stay quiet.
