He is a Rep.

one of the "special" districts

The whole state almost electing Abrams means they are close to that stupid.

He once suggested we failed our WWII naval strategy by not using chains to tow Guam via battleship towards Okinawa, and release the connection at ramming speed.

How is this guy allowed to be on special counsels and to continually ask the most asinine questions?

He was just worried that if they were all staying at the same hotel it might tip over and capsize.

If I was in this setting and he was questioning me, I would find a way to get the word to capsize in my testimony

The close margin of that election still has me shaking my head in shame at the state I was born and still live in.

Never thought I would leave Georgia but when I retire I very well may.

I remember this now. I attributed that to someone else talking about Puerto Rico. He suggested Guam would capsize by the weight of the population.

I do not think I could keep myself from questioning him about it.

But when Guam tips over

If it tips over fast enough, will all the people on one end go flying over the top of guam and into the ocean, which will then cause that side to settle back down?

When dumb people try to sound smart

quote:

Johnson: This is a[n] island that at its widest level is what … twelve miles from shore to shore? And at its smallest level … uh, smallest location … it’s seven miles between one shore and the other? Is that correct?

Willard: I don’t have the exact dimensions, but to your point, sir, I think Guam is a small island.

Johnson: Very small island, about twenty-four miles, if I recall, long, twenty-four miles long, about seven miles wide at the least widest place on the island and about twelve miles wide on the widest part of the island, and I don’t know how many square miles that is. Do you happen to know?

Willard: I don’t have that figure with me, sir, I can certainly supply it to you if you like.

Johnson: Yeah, my fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.

Willard: We don’t anticipate that … the Guam population I think currently about 175,000 and again with 8,000 Marines and their families it’s an addition of about 25,000 more into the population.

Johnson: And also things like the environment, the sensitive areas of the environment, coral reefs and those kinds of things, and I know that lots of people don’t like to think about that but … you know, we don’t think about global warming either, and now we do have to think about it, and so I’m concerned from an environmental standpoint whether or not Guam is the best place to do this relocation. but it’s actually the only place, is that correct?

Willard: This is the best place, this is the farthest west U.S. territory that we own and this is part of our nation, and in readdressing the forward presence and posture importance to Pacific Command, Guam is vital to this decision.

Did he almost slit his own throat shaving? What was that white strip on his neck? What a buffoon

Next time he cuts himself shaving, he should remember to remove the toilet paper before he goes to work.

But then again, I'm surprised that this dude remembers to breathe.

The whole state almost electing Abrams means

The combined I.Q.s of the Democratic legislation in Georgia wouldn't be high enough to outscore the Hawks in a basketball game....and we ALL know how bad the Hawks are!
