Administrator just told me: The person in #Hawaii's Emergency Management agency Warning Point who sent out the inbound #missile message to the public has been "reassigned" during an investigation but not relieved of duty.

The employee who hit the wrong button in Hawaii, triggering a false alarm warning of an inbound missle, had chance to catch his mistake; he had to hit the wrong button TWICE:
Reporter: There was a two-step process and they pressed Yes in both situations?
Official: Right.

As a poster has explained the new EBS is designed to go everywhere, TV, phones, Ipads, car radios, car GPS' everywhere. No way it took them a half an hour to correct it. Click somewhere and type FALSE ALARM WE ARE SORRY takes 7 seconds.

State employee of the most leftist state in the Union?
I doubt that he would have been fired had he accidentally caused World War III with thermonuclear holocaust included.
But seriously, DISMANTLE all of these "ballistic missile detection" agencies run by state governments. World War III is nothing to let incompetent state-employee nincompoops goof around with.

It was a planned test to see how people would react. It sure as shite wasn't an accident.

What I want to know is why doesn't it require TWO people to send something like that for exactly this reason?

The only explanation for it taking that long is that their system was hacked and it took that long to figure out how to secure it.
