A normal person doesn’t despise Canada, hate Canadians, and plan a weekend in Toronto. Tlaib and Omar wanted to stir problems in Israel and stand on Israeli soil while doing it. It took until the last minute, likely due to the fact that they’re both sitting Members of Congress, but Israel finally rescinded their permission to enter.
Since Tlaib and Omar have the arrogance that comes with knowing the media will protect them and the shamelessness that accompanies living in a bubble where disagreement is rare and ignored, their next step was easy. The racist duo immediately played the victims.

I have asked this previously and not seen a good answer to it anywhere: What was their stated pretense for wanting to go there? Was this articulated anywhere?

I wish Steve King (for example) would demand to be allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia and promote evangelical christian ideas. I am sure the US press would bang the same drums for him as they are for these two nut jobs.
