Oklahoma State releases statement following internal review of Mike Gundy, reportedly hands down pay cut to the coach
Michael Wayne Bratton | 2 minutes ago
Oklahoma State is doing a good job of sending out mixed messages when it comes to head coach Mike Gundy.
Gundy was recently in the news for the wrong reasons as his attire led to star running back Chuba Hubbard, the nation’s leading returning rusher, announcing he wouldn’t play this season if action wasn’t taken to correct his coach’s lack of awareness. After Hubbard’s comment, several current and former Oklahoma State players voiced their support for the running back while none appeared to back Gundy.
At the heart of the issue was an “OAN” (One America News Network, for those unfamiliar) shirt worn by Gundy. While the player and his coach soon came together and shared a video message putting the issue behind them, Oklahoma State went on to internally review the way Gundy treated his current and former players.

Gundy needs to call his lawyer and sue the frick out of OSU. He has a contract, not at will employment.
Bet you that contract doesn't say a damn word forbidding him to wear a damn news channel t-shirt....

I hope they overtly donate his paycut to the most extreme left wing organization

T. Boone is rolling over right now.

Question: can T. Boone Pickens' heirs terminate and neuter the OSU endowment contributions?

Probably but they won't

Depends on how it’s set up.

Everybody keeps saying these people who are fired or reprimanded should sue..... How many have actually won? It seems a common theme for people to scream "sue" Everytime someone is fired.

This is why you NEVER apologize to these people.
Never
It will never be good enough. Until people like that running back are told you don’t want to play? Fine don’t play we will never see an end to this mess

I'm telling you: we are NOT getting out of this without bloodshed one way or another.
If we don't spill theirs, they will damn sure spill ours.

But if he does, they might call him racist so he can't...

Free speech and he is a government employee

So, instead of letting it die, like it had, OSU brings this up again with this stupid asses press release? Wow, utter incompetence.

Exactly. They are just low iq, insecure animals and should be treated as such.

Oklahoma State is a public university. If the pay cut and contract modification was due to his protected speech then it is clearly unconstitutional. Gundy should man the frick up and fight back.

What the hell is wrong with an OAN shirt? Isn't that a news network? Does the running back not like the news or something?
