Grisly Mexican gang battle near U.S. border leaves 21 dead

Mexico is one seriously effed up place. I don't care if we build a wall or do it some other way, but I hope Trump doesn't cave on border security.

So why don’t they request asylum in one of the less violent areas of Mexico instead of attempting to travel through one of the most violent areas of Mexico?
That level of stupidity should disqualify them from entry into the US.

What are you even arguing? People are fleeing violence in the triangle. And yes some of them decide to crawl through Mexico to get to the US. They’ll even pay thousands to the the coyotes to help them. You’re basically cargo at that point.
They will probably be denied asylum unless they can find an alternate reason. Some just get stuck in courts and whatnot, which is better than their current situation.

Some do, but Mexico doesn’t offer asylum anywhere you want. It’s mostly in the southern parts, which are a lot like Honduras
