Goya chief executive Robert Unanue has reportedly been forbidden from speaking to the press by his company's board of directors after he claimed the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent, the New York Post reports.

The newspaper reported Monday the company, which specializes in Hispanic foods, voted to censure Unanue for his remarks claiming President Joe Biden's election was "unverified" while on Fox Business last week. He is now no longer able to make media appearances without the prior approval of the board.

"Bob does not speak for Goya Foods when he speaks on TV," Andy Unanue, a Goya board member and third-generation owner, told the Post last week before the vote took place. "The family has diverse views on politics, but politics is not part of our business. Our political point of views are irrelevant."

The 'Board' shows its complete pussy hat wearing mannerisms and is obviously complete discounting the huge, huge boost in revenues that happened when Goya sided with the right side. So, based on this decision, it's 'adios Goya!' It's a shame, they have some good products, but most of them have easily found substitutes produced by other companies. Time to see those revenues flounder.

This is the way it should be, but sadly it's not that way for 90% of corporate America. It's a race to see who is the wokest.

Thumbs up for the post, but no need to be a dick.
The CEO is still pro Trump.

But if he were championing BLM and Antifa, he'd be celebrated.

So this statement is incorrect.

But the Board runs the company.

As for the other part, even under this administration with its 'everyone can be a man or a woman' policy, I could never be a 'd---.' I'm proud to be what my God made me, a woman!

You motherfrickers are going to be down to chick-fil-a for every meal and wearing homespun clothing before too long.

must be nice... honestly- and good on them for getting to be a part of a solid enterprise.

it looks like they are non-political and just there run a business and profit. Nothing wrong with this in my opinion...

there would be no chance in hell I boycotted Goya. They make good stuff. CEO has his opinions and was told not to raise the tension, which he probably would agree with.

No reason to alienate customers when you already have a successful business... don’t screw the pooch.

I went out of my way to buy Goya products this fall.

Now, I will go out of my way not to.

This sucks.
