"Governmental oppression"

I've heard a few activists and protesters use this language
"March with us to fight to change governmental oppression"
what exactly are they talking about? I love how no one articulates or unpacks these phases...but sure gets a lot nods and followers.
Can we talk about what the government provides poor people and the inner city Black Community is no exception?
Feel Free to list services we provide as a country to help Black people. (if they need it)
1. Section 8 housing (sadly there is a huge waiting list)
2. Welfare (this could be oppression)
3. Food Stamps
4. Public education
5. No Federal taxation
6. Police/ambulance/firefighters
7. City counsel
8. Protections against unfair or abusive landlords

If they looked at what "governmental oppression" actually meant, they'd change it to Democrat oppression.

If they want to get rid of government oppression they need to stop voting based strictly on party line.
They also need to take the protests to the communities of their mayors, governors, and representatives. Make it uncomfortable for those people and then maybe they will see change

Only dumb asses would cry governmental oppression in a country where you literally get to pick your own government.
