Or is this based on your income?

The press conference said they wouldn’t be sending checks to people making above a million (seemed like a random number thrown around), but what would the true income ceiling be?

Or if you are salaried no matter what you aren’t eligible?

I'm guessing what will end up happening is people under a certain threshold get a check, people over it get a payroll tax removal

Let's be honest.

Anyone making $100,000 or more probably doesn't need a check...unless they have 6 kids and that's not our fault.

Until our elected trash in DC put their useless heads together and vote for something, we are just pissing into the wind trying to figure out what will happen.

I'd rather have the payroll tax holiday for the rest of the year.

He said millionaires shouldn't be getting checks. It was an arbitrary number that I'm sure will be narrowed down during the next few days.

Nothing was said about hourly vs salaried.

this isnt about "need" though, its about stimulating the economy.

if you want to put money in everyones pockets, then do that.

giving everyone under 100k $1000 just reduces the purchasing power of everyone who makes more AND makes them pay for that honor.

I will 100% vote against trump and any representative that signs off on giving people a free $1000 and taking it from the people who already pay over 16k a year in taxes

$100K in Nashville or Houston is not the same thing as $100K in Birmingham.

Except most of the 45% of Americans that do not pay Federal Income Tax get stuff already

So they will get more

Let’s say I’m eligible (I doubt it), do I get a household check? Or, will I get a check & my wife get a check?
