Gov. Cuomo Pardons 4 illegals jailed for murder to teach Trump a lesson

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo granted clemency to 29 people on Monday, including immigrants who are facing deportation.
In a New Year's Eve, statement, the Democrat took a shot at President Trump for the partial government shutdown, which stems from an impasse over border security funding.
"While President Trump shuts down the federal government over his obsession with keeping immigrants out, New York stands strong in our support for immigrant communities," Cuomo said. "These actions will help keep immigrant families together and take a critical step toward a more just, more fair and more compassionate New York."
Twenty-two of the individuals who received pardons were immigrants who, because of convictions mainly related to drug crimes, could have been deported.
Among the seven others who had their sentences commuted are four convicted murderers and three others behind bars for armed robbery.

An immigrant is not the same as an Illegal Immigrant. Why does the left not understand this? People that are facing deportation are not Immigrants. They are Illegal Immigrants.

They understand the difference. They want an open border and there is a law against that presently. So they are using language to paint Trump as a xenophobic racists because he wants to enforce the law.

It doesn’t specificy if they were convicted of murder here or in their native country? I’m guessing it’s the latter.
Regardless, I agree with the OP. Any crimes from here are on Cuomos hands.
And - the right should now point out that since Cuomo hasn’t released American citizens convicted of similar crimes, we can conclude that Cuomo favors illegals over US citizens.

Only 1 came from Mexico but he’s Italian. Not all of the 22 are illegal, many are here on some type of visa/legal permanent residency and are facing deportation due to the conviction. On is an Israeli who runs a company with 6000 employees and violated some trademark law.

I love New York. It's my home state, my job is here, my wife from Louisiana loves it here; but it's getting to the point where I need to gtfo.
