This needs a federal investigation. People may already have died while Cuomo is hoarding ventilators for some unknown future need.

Cuomo responded to a comment from President Donald Trump on Twitter that there were thousands of ventilators in New York not being used.

Cuomo’s comments demonstrate there is not an immediate shortage in ventilators in the city, despite alarming reports.
“We don’t need them today, because we’re not at capacity today, that’s why they’re not deployed because they’re not needed,” Cuomo said.

This is like the episode of “M*A*S*H” where Hawkeye and Trapper went to another hospital seeking to acquire an incubator for germ cultures. The major in charge had three (all brand new, unused, in original crates) but wouldn’t part with one. Why? Because then he’d only have two...and having two wasn’t as good as having three.
This is literally life imitating situation comedy. Only this isn’t funny.

In a matter of days he goes from a potential replacement as Dem candidate to Biden to a massive piece of shite. I guess that won't be enough to disqualify him.

what about the service workers union who just happen to find 30million+ masks in a warehouse,days after Barr makes announcement of anyone sitting on stockpiles will get a knock on their door.

This is up there with Honor Code telling us daily for about 7-10 days that we're 7 days from running out of ventilators. As of about 7am, the new deadline is April 2nd

No, they will not get screwed. Cuomo is simply being Cuomo. He adores the limelight.
The Federal government knows who has what and who doesn't. The states do as well. You can bet your arse that local hospitals started ordering more and more and screaming for help, asap.
Cuomo simply has the TV camera's on him day and night.
Is Cuomo a slimy POS, sure. Will others get cheated due to Cuomo's lies, probably not.

So getting yet more ventilators when he already has a surplus? Isn’t that hoarding? I know may need more later in a worst case scenario but numerous cities and states might also.

That'snot what I heard him say on national tv just a few evenings ago. He was slamming Trump hard about ignoring N.Y.s immediate need for 30,000 ventilators. Several times he ranted that "we only got 4,000 and need 30,000".
