Gotta wonder about Drew Brees now

Now that in multiple circumstances ranging across multiple Sports, multiple people have chosen not to kneel. You have to wonder. I mean these people all saw what has happened to others. It's not some surprise to them what reaction they are going to get. They've had plenty of time to think about it. They've heard all of the arguments against standing. And they still did it. They still have the intestinal fortitude despite knowing the blowback they would get. They saw Drew Brees get beaten into submission and they've seen most of the people around them fold. And make no mistake not everybody kneeling right now wants to. A lot of them are pussies just like Drew

BLM has pushed too far and the counter reaction is coming. Look at F1 it already started, a few drivers had balls and refused to take a knee, now Lewis Hamilton getting criticized by legends in the sport and the drivers who refused to give in to the woke mob are soaring in popularity.

Brees bent the knee to save his seven figure a year broadcasting career after football, which in his case is probably next year. These other guys don't have to worry about that, at least not right away like Drew.

My main takeaway from the Drew situation is he is a dumbass. Wasn’t prepared to back up what came out of his mouth and he scrambled

I’m unsure how this plays regarding his entrepreneurial run with Walk Ons, Jimmy Johns, Dunkin Donuts, etc. It assume he wishes he stayed mute on the subject from the get go, but I’m not so certain the backtracking was his best move

My god you guys turn quick on someone. It was a debacle and he made a bad decision. The guy brought a Super Bowl to Nola. It is probably the one bit of happiness the city has had in the past two decades
