Google is hiring 10,000 people to rid YouTube of ‘problematic content’

George Orwell, eat your fricking heart out. 10,000 people to go censor videos, comments, and demonetize anything they don’t like. Is there really enough content where they need 10,000 SJWs to go and take over the platform?
This pretty much has to be the end of YouTube, and hopefully some rich guy can come in, build a profitable platform, and take it all down.

This will end up like Twitter where you can get pretty much anyone banned just by mass-reporting because odds are one of the "reviewers" is just auto-clicking BAN for minimum wage.

There's something else out there called D tube or something. Michael Trimm announced he will be moving over to it, I think.
It's going to cost a minimum of $50,000 for each of those employees per year, once you factor in SS, FICA and all that. That's $500 Million dollars per year.
There's no way they're going to shell out that much money for this - unless, they're getting that money free somehow. I suspect the deep state is funneling money to them for this purpose.
Wouldn't it be nice if Trump could direct the DOJ to do an audit of their books.

There actually is a ton of pedo and torture related stuff on YouTube that needs human eyes in order to purge it. A lot of that stuff either slips through the algorithm, or it's secretly condoned.
That said, I don't expect this to be what YouTube is going to purge. Instead, I figure it will be conservative or "woke" content.

Well, they’ll need to change their Mission Statement. If they change it to “We only want hacks who comply with the Big Six and no one with a diverging message from them” then I’d have no problem with it. But they’re full of shite when they say it’s a free speech platform.
