Yeah, there was one in Shreveport about 20 years ago. It was free and it was interesting. I walked around off stage talking to the breeders about what preparations they did and how much they could make if their cat got 1st place.
I also chatted with one of the judges who came down from Illinois. I asked him why he wiped the show table off after every cat. He said it was to get rid of the scent. When you put cat 'A' back in the cage you wipe off the table because when you put cat 'B' on it he'll get pissed off and throw a fit if he smells cat 'A.'
