And do you often jog around the Southern US Border? Through the middle of the desert Southwest, during night, along with 13-30 of your closest friends and their kids?
Are you under the impression that's the only place ICE can stop you? They do checkpoints on the Interstate in places like New Hampshire.
So you or he jog along the New Hampshire interstate system too? In shorts, without any ID? Sounds even riskier than the SW Desert the way people drive.

Y’all make it sound like they are immediately dumped across the border ( ) I don’t know, please explain
If there is no due process, I guess it’s up to whoever makes the arrest. If someone cuts him off in traffic he can take their ID and run them to Matomoros. If all deportation is immediate, and there are no hearings or judges, all power is in the hands of each agent.
I guess the point is, we can’t explain because the proposal is for giving complete power to ICE agents. What would it look like? I don’t know, but ICE agents would have total power over you and me.

I am a US citizen, 11th generation on one line (Sons of the Revolution). The most-recent immigrant (from anywhere) in my bloodline was five generations ago. But I have a naturally dark complexion (Czech heritage on another line), and I speak fluent Spanish. I do not alwys carry my wallet.
Under Trump’s moronic proposal, an ICE agent could see me on the street shopping in Del Rio, take a dislike to me, ask for my ID, take me into custody for lack of an ID and then dump my arse in Acuna ... leaving me in the position of trying to contact my nearest relative 300 miles away to help me get back into my own country.
If you do not see the problems in such a system, you are simply too stupid to deserve further discussion.

Do you know of any instance where a citizen has been deported for not being a citizen?
I'd imagine due process helps prevent that scenario from happening.
If you remove due process you will have citizens being deported in error. That's almost inevitable and why the idea is stupid.

Wow, if no due process was the law of the land someone would have mentioned it. I mean that whole repeal of the federal constitution and every state constitution as well. I guess it’s possible I missed that but I doubt it.

Signed into law by William Jefferson Clinton, last amended 3 years into GW Bush 1st term.

The bottom line is if you're brown, you better have your ID on you at all times.
If you don't have it, you deserve to be deported. We don't need to waste time and resources in court because you can't prove that you don't deserve deportation. There are more important things going on than appeasing people that can't prove they shouldn't be deported.

Hey AH you don’t need to talk to me like that, I asking a sincere question about procedure: what exactly is “due process”?

The immigration problem is more serious than most people realize. What's scary is that about 100 18-wheelers filled w/ smuggled human cargo are seized every year on Texas highways. Many of the occupants of these tractor trailers are found dead or unconscious as a result of heatstroke.

Are non citizens that have not gone through the processes of immigration control on U.S. soil?

You go Tboy with your denigration of the actual Nazi Atrocities committed against innocent Jews! Jews who were actual citizens of the German nation (and other occupied locations) at the time.
When they go low, Tboy goes lower! And by "they" I mean Hitler and the 3rd Reich, you just went lower than them kid.

Having a court verify they are in fact aliens for one.

Oh good. I am sure the CBP agent that made the mistake will surely always report himself.
What could go wrong?
