Enjoy. The comments are usually dead on and generally well informed.

Louisiana is barely habitable now but it's not because of the weather.

As someone who lives in a place which is warmer than New Orleans, I’m happy to pass on our well researched Aussie emergency survival plan for extreme heat, so you can teach your kids how to deal with the coming climate crisis. Drag the TV outside, jump in the pool, put up a big sun shade, and buy a large bag of ice for the beer and soft drink cooler. As with any emergency survival plan, practice drills are essential.

Good thing emissions don’t go unchecked anymore and are heavily regulated. Should be all good.

America’s West is facing massive wildfires. Its coasts are being inundated by sea level rise. Its desert cities and farms are stressed by ever-increasing demands for air conditioning and water. The Southeast faces increased hurricane risks. The heartland is seeing extremes of both heat and precipitation.

Wildfires are not caused by global warming. Hurricanes are not increased by global warming. Sea levels have risen and fallen dramatically for millions of years.

Gonna be funny when we’re actually in a mini ice age in 10-30 years and see everyone north of us baffled and wanting to come down to the south

It's not the heat, it's the humidity.

So, just move Covid deaths over to the other side of the table and call them climate change deaths.

It's an open forum. Yeah, they have those dingle-berries too.
BTW, both the historical record and the geological record show that warm eras have milder storms and cold eras have more severe storms.
