Giving my son crap for choosing a school full of liberals

Sitting with him today after he finished up summer indoctrination and starts classes on Monday.
I hope he can stay true to his convictions among all these dirty hippies.
ETA: For those slow on the uptake, the boy starts his Plebe year at West Point on Monday.

Um... the Army is not the place to worry about liberal snowflakes.
West Point has plenty of problems, but left wing soi bois is not one of them.
Eta: Congrsts to your son for getting through Beast. Plebe year will be over before he knows it.

Congratulations, that is really something to be proud of. I just dropped both my kids at Auburn the other day and on the way home we were in a store and this woman was buying blue socks with anchors all over them. I said that is an interesting look and she said she just had to have them because she had just got back from dropping her son off at the Naval Academy as a freshman. Next thing I know I’m looking at pictures of her son on her phone running track. She was so proud of her son as he was the first one in their family to go to college. Really is a great accomplishment to get in to one of the service academy’s.
