about 65 years ago the movie industry did a great job identifying the issue of white supremecy at both ends of the economic spectrum with the production of Giant. the last 20 minutes or so give a vivid display of Rock Hudson getting his arse whipped trying to defend his mixed race offspring family.

the movie industry cannot recreate a similar situation today.

Sarge was not having any of Bick's new found sjw bull $hit.

There was a sign on the wall proclaiming the establishment's right to refuse service to anyone. What part of that did the Benedict's did not understand?

The man fought for his country, and he every right to feed or not feed at his sole discretion.

All to the backdrop of "The Yellow Rose of Texas".

Aside from the early scenes w/James Dean, it's mostly very boring

I'm a huge Dean fan and I happen to agree with you. The scenes as the older wealthy Jett Rink were almost farcical.

And speaking of farcical, here's a rare uncredited scene in the Martin and Lewis comedy Sailor Beware.

Sarge earned the right to be an a-hole. folks that do not see that have earned the right to go to mandatory crt training

You guys get that scene so wrong. It's more about Benedict and honor.

James Dean was remarkable as a young Jett Rink. Liz Taylor was outstanding and characteristally beautiful

Rock Hudson could've had Gina Lolobrigida, but he preferred Gomer Pile...

Recently watched a Batman film short from 1943 (during WWII).

Narrator: 'This neighborhood of Gotham City is called Little Tokyo. Our wily govt rounded up the shifty-eyed residents and now it's virtually deserted.'

Now that's a real time description of the internment.

BTW, Hirohito sent his evil scientists to America to turn all the white people into zombies.
