This took true courage.

He is a spokesman and to step out and put yourself out there like this is an act of valor.

Kudos Champ!

Who's going to challenge George Foreman, though? The man is a walking legend.

I'd put him at least equal footing with numb nuts Sean Penn or Alec Baldwin.

Would not expect anything different from him. He was waving the American flag after winning a gold in Mexico City, some "leaders" were pissed that he did that.

He tells the story of how his wife and his agent had to make him go to the meeting. It was set and he was curious, but then started to think it was a waste of time. He said, "Really? Electric grills?" They said, "Yes, George. Did you read the proposal? This is a great opportunity. It's worth 15 minutes of your time to hear them out."

He laughs at his own reluctance. The gig has allowed him to do so much - much more than boxing ever gave him.

The inside story. The creators of the grill offered George a lump sum or a percentage of profits. He chose the latter. They thought 'What an idiot. Our invention is never gonna sell. He should have taken the cash.'

They were wrong. He made millions off the part ownership. They had to give him a bundle to buy him out.

i read that he and Hulk Hogan had the same agent and the agent tried to give it to Hogan first. But they played phone tag for a while then Forman was looking for a gig and he gave him the grill cause he couldnt get through to Hogan.
