... bringing the sanctity of a publicly recognized committed monogamous relationship to the homosexual community. It was about bringing a wrecking ball to traditional monogamous values.

quote:

New research at San Francisco State University reveals just how common open relationships are among gay men and lesbians in the Bay Area. The Gay Couples Study has followed 556 male couples for three years ? about 50 percent of those surveyed have sex outside their relationships, with the knowledge and approval of their partners.

- NYT source

So roughly half of male gay couples are knowingly having extra-relational sex. It's no wonder we're watching, not even a decade post the legalization of gay marriage, dudes in fetish gear spanking one another in broad daylight on a crowded public street.

I use to be pro-gay marriage. I bought into the lie that shows like "The Modern Family" pushed - that gay couples were just like straight couples, just with two dudes or two women.

No, never in American history has there been a month were straight folks sex gear up and raunch out on public streets.

I feel sorry for the super minority of gays who have spoke out against this hypersexual lifestyle, and who the leftist media ignored, but the majority of your demographic fricked it up. Not all sexual preferences are equally morally valuable. This country has been off the rails too long. America was better off when this shite wasn't mainstream.

A surprise to no one.

Lesbian marriages are just like other marriages. A father isn't needed in a family.

Except the black community shows us every day that that is a lie.

It was about gaining access to the tax code benefits that were really designed to help couples with children.

That’s literally the least important thing it was about.

No matter what you think about gay marriage the Supreme Court case is absolutely horrible jurisprudence.

Yeah, but follow the money is in the mix.

The creation and nurturing of children is not an activity for selfish people.

Living a life of pleasure and debauchery is a selfish pursuit.

We all know which group indulges in which activity.

I would agree with this answer, as well.

GTF over it and move on you damn hypocrites. You religious nuts like to blame Trump for every every little hiccup that comes along in the GOP but you won't let go of abortion (even though Roe was overturned) and gay marriage. I have news for you. Plenty of straight people have open relationships too. I'll be the first to admit that I wouldn't be able to stay faithful to one woman. So I make it known in every relationship. At least I'm honest with myself and others. Oh, and plenty of straight people cheat on their partners every day. Why, you're probably sitting right next to a few of them in your favorite pew at the First Self-Righteous Church.

Honestly I think some of you have a bigger problem with gay people then the god-damned trannys. Trump has it right. Gay marriage is settled. He knows the trannys are the problem and immediately took action against them in his first term.

To a much lesser extent.

Society should have never made marriage into a trivial affair that could be easily broken.

Yep, this has always been the message, and for a lot of people, it's still how they view it, especially suburban women.

If heterosexuals had been better stewards of the form of marriage, it would still be easily distinguishable from the nonsense the queers trot out as a “marriage.” We didn’t. That’s on us.

Agree.

My wife and I pledged, 'till death do us part'.

If she wants to end our marriage she should shoot me in the head while I sleep.

Christians getting no fault-divorced have done far greater damage to the nuclear family than gays could ever dream of. And they get to spend the afterlife together.

Further proof that way too many of you are faux conservatives. A true conservative believes in limited government. You want a theocracy. The government has no business being involved in marriage at all. The very idea of the government determining your relationship status should be sickening.

Anyone wanting a theocracy should be taken into whatever afterlife they believe in.
As quickly as God can sweep the earth clean of them.
