Variety article

Twitter/FB is the 21st century equivalent of the town square and unwarranted censorship is a violation of 1st Amendment rights.

I don’t like that they’re doing it, but these social media sites are corporations. Users aren’t guaranteed constitutional rights to use them.

We are on the cusp of a full scale socialist revolution.

To the pinheads on the left, words like those above and "America first" constitute hate speech.

Doubtful. There is some. History of private property being considered public space for 1st Amendment purposes, but nothing near what you are suggesting. Will be interesting to hear how it plays out.

If these corporations are censoring based upon protecting against litigation....they will most certainly find themselves being pulled into litigation over damages that result from posts they don’t censor.

This seems pretty short-sighted.

Yeah, it's their company so they can do what they want.

However, the backlash will absolutely hurt the left's cause.

Right

And the more they censor, the more they're going to open up opportunities for other sites to grow that are willing to host this content.

But liberals say that private Christian bakeries should be forced to violate their beliefs and make cakes for gay weddings

I'm sure the people getting banned for voicing non PC opinions aren't particularly pleased.

But Trump has been told that under the Constitution he can't block people?

They may not be, but I am!

This is great. I hope they keep this up.

I also LOVE the comparisons they are making to the Christian Bakers when they bring this up.

Didn't the Christian Bakers do everything else the customer asked them to do MINUS making a gay wedding cake? I believe they told them they would do anything but that.

IF that is the case, then this is not a comparison at all. These social media sites are deleting accounts. They aren't telling these people "you can keep your account, we just won't allow XYZ".

Huge difference, but I don't expect the liars on the left to acknowledge this while they cheer on what they really want.

Your comment , although technically correct, is maybe 10% of the issue though. They have “ the right “ to delete all non- Progressive content. The issue is that once that is acknowledged, now what ? Do we want our media monopolies to work in concert with other media monopoly platforms to all censor any non-Progressive content? Specifically when Google controls the fate of any future potential Twitter competitor?

So is a grocery store that sells loaves of bread but I don't see them denying service to people who pay with EBT cards and those that pay cash. I hope you get my meaning.

You don't think Alex was giddy when he had a new reason to do his Tasmanian Devil routine? C'mon, like everybody said, it just legitimizes him.

So that means the entities banning him are cutting off their nose to spite their face?
