MENDOCINO, Calif. (KGO) - In Northern California, a gas station is currently charging nearly $10 per gallon.
According to Gas Buddy, that officially makes it the most expensive gas in the country.
At Schlafer’s Auto Repair in Mendocino, supreme unleaded was $9.91 per gallon, while regular was listed at $9.60.
On Saturday, AAA reports the national average for gas in the U.S. was $4.81 per gallon.

Do they really have to say “unleaded” anymore…?

I mean, how long has it been since lead was added to gas?

Not only are they far more expensive, you have to wait somewhere at least around 4 months to get one. It's more like "let them eat cake, if they can find one."

There's probably a law forcing them to label it exactly like that.

I’m sure “the President doesn’t control gas prices” crowd would be singing the same tune if Orange man was in office and gas was $10 a gallon

I payed 6.19 yesterday. Better than my 6.99 ( different town) the other day.. I cannot wait till we hit 10 dollars.

I can afford this crap, but I live in a community that has a lot of poor. This is is very painful for them.

You can afford the higher gas prices but when it drives up the price of food, clothing, airfare, etc. etc. it gets far less tolerable.

I’m curious to see how this impacts gig jobs like Uber/Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc. One explanation for the labor shortage is that lots of those workers have taken gig jobs.

We have added 450-550 a month in food alone. Gas has been about 220 more a month at this time. It is getting insane.

Yeah, but Trump understands how important energy prices are to the economy so pump prices would never get to that point under his administration.

State and local taxes are killing them and the public will blithely pay $10 and support a Dem government.

meh 1/10

Go back and read the old truck nuts threads, seems those in the know predicted this exactly back when Obama was still president.

Its almost like you forgot Trump spent a great deal of his time in office trying to get the oil price UP.

Everything aint about politics Becky.

Wrong. I was in Sacramento, CA yesterday and the price was just under 6.00/gallon. I mean that's expensive af but it's not fricking $10/gallon.

Aviation gas for piston engines. I saw it in this video recently. It's about the guy who came up with adding lead to gas.

The man who accidentally killed the most people in history
