yeah i dont think the writers and director of AHX realized that their own movie sort of chopped its own legs out.

even at the time though, it didnt exactly make the strongest case against stereotyping black males. the guy's dad WAS senselessly murdered by a black guy who he was trying to help. the black kid picking on Danny in school WAS a piece of shite bully and cheater who ended up being a murderer. and the guys on the basketball court WERE traveling.
