Fox’s Judge Napolitano: CNN Has a ‘Very Good Case’ Against the White House

Looks like it isn't a frivolous lawsuit after all.

Appearing on Varney & Co., Judge Andrew Napolitano stated his belief that CNN is on solid legal ground, and that Jim Acosta will soon be back inside the gates at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“Obviously Acosta may have been an irritant to the president, but he was hardly a danger to him,” Napolitano said. “So I think CNN’s got a very good case. I think this will be resolved quickly. I don’t expect a jury trial. I think it will either be settled or CNN will prevail on motion.”
According to Napolitano, there are grounds for barring a reporter from the White House. But Acosta didn’t come close to breaking the rules that would’ve merited his ouster.
“Believe it or not – Acosta would be entitled to a hearing and they would have to show which rule that he violated and the only rule that has anything to do with what he did is, was he a danger to the president or the president’s family?” Napolitano said. “Obviously not.”

Why does ANYONE have a RIGHT to be in the WH Press Briefing Room? I don't get it.

And he never gets called on again.
Staffer could press charges though. She will not, but she could.
CNN would be smart and just assign a new reporter. Trump is going to set him up again.

I'm pretty sure MI6 got to Nap last year after he called them out for spying on Trump. Ever since his suspension from Fox, he has suddenly became a deep stater. Not even joking. Look at his opinions before that time compared to now.

I don't see how they can force the White House to let him back in there. The Judicial Branch can pound sand.

Was this stated as any part of the rationale here?

Yeah I didn't get the "danger" part.
I like Nap, but I don't understand his reasoning here.

I really do not know the answer to this:
Was he "barred" from the White House? I thought I heard that all that happened was his "Hard Pass" was taken. Meaning, he would have to get a "day pass" for each day. Kind of like having a TSA Fast Pass taken away. You can still fly. You just have to stand in that longer, slower line.
IF he was truly "barred" from the White House, I'd be on his side...but, I'd still say the exercise was useful in just inconveniencing him.
However, if his "Hard Pass" is the only thing taken, I'd say his behavior merits the inconvenience of having to get a new day pass each time.

Put his arse in the back corner with a couple of American flags in front of him and never take another question from him or CNN.

Frick ‘em! Go nuclear and cancel the WH briefings altogether and give exclusive interviews to Fox News.

The lawsuit falsely claims daily caller reporter chuck Ross was in the room
He was not in the room
The lawsuit likewise gets 4 other details wrong
CNN lawsuit gets 5 things wrong
1) It mischaracterized Acosta’s questioning
2) it falsely claims all reporters used the mic
3) it falsely claims Acosta did not interrupt other speakers
4) it falsely claims Acosta did not resist the intern taking mic
5) incorrectly states chuck Ross of Daily caller was at the press conference and voiced support for Acosta

I think it is significant when your top legal correspondent on Fox News is blasting the talking points of it's opinion people.

Sleep late this morning?
This is quite a bit later in the day than usual for one of your sky screams. You’re usually the entertainment over my first cup of joe.

Napolitano went from a Ron Paul acolyte to a Deep State asset. What a crying shame.

Precedent is precedent. You can't just warp history to allows the actions of Trump.

Or... the White House ceases holding daily briefings.
