Fires are burning. They’re just kind of letting them burn out. Some stores have been vandalized and burglarized. Trash strewn from receptacles. Police are just kind of standing and watching. It wasn’t until (he said protesters) tried to go to the mayor’s house that the police dug in their heels and began zip tying people.
What was the point of roping off downtown and declaring it a no go zone if you weren’t going to enforce that decision?

Exactly. The cop who got indicted shot back at someone in the dark that shot at him first. Why would any sane person put themselves in the position of enforcing the law if thats gonna be the standard?
