Can you help me understand your reasoning for this? A lot of the MSM talk about Biden campaign recently has him spending time and money in places like Georgia, Florida and Texas because they are "expanding the map". He'd be spending more time and money in those blue wall states that Trump flipped in 2016 if his campaign wasn't confident in their standing. I know the Clinton campaign was confident/lazy as well in those places, and they lost. I can't imagine the Democrats would do the same thing again, right?

It seems a lot of the confidence in Trump's chances here on the board is anecdotal. The size of his rallies, some of the dumb shite Pelosi, Biden and company have been doing and saying as of late. I agree with the MSM point that the election is a referendum on Trump, but this board seems to believe (and I hope it's true) that a majority people aren't really as anti-Trump as the "biased media" would have you believe.

But outside of name-calling and sunshine pumping, is there legitimate data that has people confident in Trump winning? "The media is lying and polls are wrong" or "the only way Trump loses is if they steal the election with eleventy billion cases of voter fraud" feels a lot more like wishful thinking. I hope I'm just being concerned for nothing and Dems lose big.

EDIT: Lol, I love the amount of troll responses. Just the enlightenment I was looking for.

I listen to both left and right political radio shows and podcasts. Even the conservative shows think Trump can win, but aren't exactly confident he is going to do so. Only here on TD is Trump going to destroy Biden and win 350+ EVs. For the poster who said to just make sure I vote, already did early voting for Trump, though no one is worried about him losing Louisiana.

”Polls Lie”

FTR, I hope Trump wins. As bad as he is, Biden would be worse.

But the level of delusion amongst Trump homers is just entertaining. He may win in a close election, but huge numbers of them are UTTERLY convinced that he will be winning in a Reaganesque landslide.

I will take the bait. Everything you say is the same political commentary of 2016. Hillary could draw a crowd, Biden cannot get 100 people to come see him. Why do you think Biden is in the lead?

If you cannot figure it out, there is no way we can explain it in a way you will understand at a fundamental level.

- Enthusiasm gap being 20-30 pts in Trump's favor
- <2% response rate for polls and a breakdown in the polling industry into extreme partianship
- Trump's massive ground game and Biden's lack thereof
- Shy Trump voter effect
- Higher rejection rate for Dem heavy mail in ballots
- Trump's margin and raw vote totals in the GOP primaries this year
- stock market performance YTD

If there is anything we have learned about 2020 it is:

1) you can't trust the data

2) the media has no credibility

Tell me how he has lost any of his base and how enthusiasm for Biden overcomes that.

Was there data in 2016 that made you confident in a Hillary win? What happened?

Here is a better question, Trump actually won by a fairly good margin (not really close)... do you think Joe is a better candidate than Hiltary?

I think this is a tough road and that was before yesterday.

Just like they were in'16. Many, many posters on here said in '16 the polls were fake and Trump was going to win and you want to doubt them now? That's on you.

Believe what you want. Just make sure you show up to vote. I know I will even though I think Trump is going to win bigly.

Well, this is pretty much a rerun of 2016. Biden has dementia and is running the worst campaign in presidential history. His VP is not liked by anyone. I don't think riots and defunding police win hearts and minds. And we're about to find out how corrupt the Biden crime family really is because the methhead son was to stupid to claim his own dam laptop.

Question for you: How many times does someone have to lie to you before you stop believing them?

There's your answer.
