1) There are no COVID-19 experts (at least, there WERE none) because this is brand new. There ARE "infectious disease" experts and they are giving the best information they can. A true expert understands enough to know that he doesn't understand everything and adjusts with new data
2) The problem is that the running of a country is a Multiple Variable Optimization issue and simpletons take one variable and expect the entire socio-economic engine to be run on it.

IMO the problem is politics. This theory will be proven correct when we find the news on COVID die down to practically nothing after November 3rd.

For me, it's not matter of how many times they are wrong, but for how much longer. I will believe the lies until early November, then reassess.

When they all lined up and said that police brutality against black people was a far greater public health risk than covid19, the mask came completely off for me.

Not a matter of quantity. If they say something I don't like or want to hear, they are idiots that should not be believed. If they say something I like, then we must all listen to their message and do exactly what they say without any critical thinking
