How can anyone be surprised that so many of the species-jumping pandemics originate from the Asian populations.
For those who haven't seen, I recommend this eight minute video on how these pandemics originate from China's wet markets.

I’m starting to wonder if I’m racist for calling it Chinese food and Mexican food. I mean we all call it that bc that’s where it comes from, so if the virus comes from China.......

I know a woman who worked for a corporation that had some presence in Wuhan. She had to visit a couple of times. Even amongst the Chinese, the folks in Wuhan have a reputation for eating disgusting food. She ate at a Subway type place every meal after one meal at a local restaurant. Pissed off the locals but she’s still alive.

I agree those wet markets should have been gone a long time ago.
Going out of one’s way to call it China virus etc seems hateful and divisive to me though. There are Chinese Americans who have nothing to do with the virus but are witnessing every mouth breathing racist being empowered by this.
It just seems unnecessarily hateful. For the president to be leading the charge is beyond irresponsible. Downvote away if you must.

Being a first-generation Cajun, I will raise my hand and admit I have eaten a LOT of things many here would find gross. My grandparents were hardcore. Didn't learn English until their teens, etc. Truly lived off the land.
What I CAN say is that anything we ate.....
We cooked that shite thoroughly before we did.
So far, my favorite "random" item was a huge rattlesnake. fricker was delicious on the pit.

China is a nation defined by borders and its communist political system. There are numerous races within those borders.
China's communist leaders are spreading propaganda that the US military intentionally set this upon the world, when in fact it was the Chinese communists' coverup which has made this as bad as it is.
The record needs correction and China must be held to account.
