has there been any evidence of:

Hacking into voting machines and changing results?

Interference with the Electoral College?

If not then Russia didn't impact the election. It is that simple. Memes on the Internet don't impact elections nor are they a threat to our Democratic Process.

How do you know that by posting articles they didn't affect a few thousand voters? Enough to swing the election?

That isn't how this works. There are articles posted everyday on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, etc that are full of lies, mistruth, and misinformation. Are we going to blame them for swaying voters in the mid terms coming up?

If posting inaccurate or slanted political articles is a crime then entire media should be locked up.

That is not interfering in anything. There are hundreds if not thousands of American entities who run misinformation and fake news during elections. That’s the price we pay for the free flow of information.

You should spend more time trying to educate voters and elevate discourse. Not screaming because you can’t control what’s on the internet.

No but apparently there were some bots posting fake news and propaganda that possibly counteracted some "legitimate" fake news and propaganda and therefore Trump's presidency is illegitimate and he is treasonous and literally Hitler because it was her turn.

On the issue of Facebook ads and such, my question is this. Doesnt' the first Amendment allow anyone who is "under the jurisdiction of the United States" to say , write, express whate er they wish? Of course it does, and Dems support this , except apparently when Facebook allows Russians to post things.

Democrats - the party of mental illness and zero principles.

This is such a retarded viewpoint.

You wanna talk about influencing an election?

What about the tens of millions of voters swayed by the outright lies and distortion by the leftist MSM?

Don't worry the AP and Factcheck.org have stepped up to assist FaceBook, Twitter and others to monitor things in the upcoming election and get rid of things that don't seem legit. They will be fair arbiters of political speech so rest easy.

Then the problem is those voters are fricking retards that believe everything they read on the internet. Blaming Russia isn't going to make the populace less stupid.

If THAT is the argument for "meddling", then the United States media did 1,000X more "meddling" than the Russians could have ever dreamed of or conceivably accomplished. And to be fair, I saw countless equally as stupid memes and articles on social media bashing Trump and praising Clinton. It was FAR from one sided, in either direction.

If the issue is "fake news" on Facebook, then the bots were actively working both sides. Having various family and friends that are on both sides of the political spectrum, I saw plenty of weird and likely untrue posts regarding Hillary and Trump that were shared during the 2016 election cycle. It's one of the many reasons I don't visit Facebook very often.

They meddled in the 2016 election but they did not influence the outcome.

It's not. The leftists just don't understand the difference because it was her turn. Hell, I think she deserves another chance. There is no way she can go 0-3.

She has just been so unlucky. She lost 30,000 emails overnight about her daughters wedding plans and favorite recipes. She lost the Democrat primary to a Kenyan born Muslim and then lost to guy who had never held public office before becoming President. She will win next time.
