SIAP
From The Daily Mail
Good...She could have told the students that the classroom is not the place for that discussion and she crossed the line when she got them to draw a gay flag.

Casey Scott was fired from Trafalgar Middle School in Cape Coral, Florida, following an art class
She said that she lost her job because students asked her about her sexuality, and she replied that she was pansexual
Students were drawing flags to represent themselves, and some drew gay and transgender flags
The school board said that Scott was fired because she strayed from the curriculum

Exactly. There are plenty of other topics that she and others would not want people sharing their personal opinions or details.

She’ll be hailed as a hero in the Liberal and alphabet communities. I see a book deal and an appearance on The View in her future. Stunning and brave.

These all just seem like publicity stunts.

She taped the student drawings on the door of her classroom. When told to take them down, she crumpled them up, in front of her class and fed them to the paper shredder.
Her actions clearly in rebellion against the Administration.
Go find a job in Chicago.

Aside from mental illness, there is no reason for a teacher to share that part of their life with students.
I hope more states follow Florida’s lead (never thought I’d say that). At best this shite is a distraction from learning, but more realistically we all know it’s more damaging to kids than that.

No student asked her about her sexuality, and if they did the answer should be, “That’s none of your business.”

Sexual discussions, by non parents, with elementary school kids are wrong in any context other than an investigation of abuse. This isn’t hard to understand and has nothing to do with this teachers sexual orientation.

I'll admit it, I had to look that one up. It's nothing more than a bisexual with an extra letter in the word. No wonder kids nowadays are told it's harder growing up than when I was a kid. Stupid arse people with their new words and phrases when there has always been simpler adjectives to describe those folks. Maybe we should adopt the mantra that simple is easy and confusion is hard.
