despite the media’s attempts to damage De Santis:
Cases are pretty meaningless.

By far the best data made readily available to the public of any state. DeSantis is soaring right now.

the weakest of the population died the soonest.

Exactly where the data points said we would end up, if you paid attention to the scientists that werent in the business of Panic Merchants
Nobody gives any credit or credence to those medical professionals on the front lines who have adapted and learned on how to attack this virus early on and take all the best and most efficient steps to prevent the need for long term care, ventilators or near-death mitigation.
Where are the prognosticators who just assumed that the only two choices in our treatment outlook were (a) bumbling around with a broadshot of theoretical treatments or (b) a cure ?

I'd have to imagine that they've shortened hospital stays as well which obviously helps keep the system under capacity.

This data just shows that in March and April - a shite ton of people had it and didn't die which made the numbers look fricking scary. The actual fatality rate is much more accurate with the testing we are doing now.

Florida has been accused of cooking the books but they do seem to be trending in the right direction

I would replace the word 'pretty' with 'totally.'
Someone in my wife's aerobics class didn't show up last week. Wife emailed her. Lady said 'I've got 14 days in isolation because I'm covid positive.'
Wife: 'What are you gonna do for working out?'
Lady "I ran 2 miles yesterday. I'm running 3 miles today. I've never felt better."

Florida's Governor didn't force elderly folks with COVID into nursing homes either.

They are taking it pretty seriously. I am typing this from Miami Beach and they have enacted a curfew and are closing the vetches tomorrow. Almost all restaurants are closed for dine in and bars are closed for the most part

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Dem make that accusation since we know the Blue States are most definitely cooking the books, just in the opposite direction.

If you notice, the narrative has already shifted from deaths to hospitalizations to number of cases. Pretty soon it'll be projected asymptomatic people

New York and New Jersey are the first jurisdictions to place sick people with healthy people in the history of pandemics.

In their defense, there was never a Bad Orange Man as President before.

I've seen projected asymptomatic cases thrown out there already, which only served to lower the overall fatality rate for all ages to 0.5%
