Easy to say, but hard to do in a country where one cannot purchase a bag of flour.

I kid you not, I wanted to make biscuits, so I have hit an average of one store per day for two weeks, and I have been unable to find and purchase one, single, solitary bag of all-purpose flour.

Oddly, there is usually a bag or two of masa on the shelf.

Odd. I haven't looked for any here because I don't need/want any at the moment. I might peruse the baking aisle of HEB next time I drop in for some essentials.

I can't find any either.

Which is ridiculous because the virus didn't attack the damn wheat fields.

Not sure where in TX you are, but it looks like you can order it from Whole Foods Market, via Amazon?

Yeah I’ve noticed the same. No flour anywhere. I’m low not out but at the normal replenish level.

Will look again today but most places have been out for a while and I would guess many people don’t even know what flour is for in today’s world.

Instant biscuits? Yuck.

Seriously, all the pre-measured stuff like that was the first to disappear, because most people do not know how to make anything from scratch.

Agree it’s not preferred. You still have to roll them, though.

But if in a pinch it may be worth considering before you bang open a can of biscuits.

Try a Mexican grocery store. The ones up by us have been stocked with everything.

As long as there's not a run on anchovies I'm good.

I love them on pizza and Caesar salads.

In college that's how I kept people from snagging my pizza, no one wanted anchovies.
