re: Fellow Alabamians. Was it just me, or was voter turnout ludicrously high?

38% turnout
Maybe it was just certain areas. But it was insane around here. All of the other polling stations in close proximity had high turnout as well

A spontaneous abortion or miscarriage is a tragic event that does happen on occasion. Terminating a pregnancy or Aborting a pregnancy is what I don’t agree with, except in the extremely rare circumstance where the Mother’s life is placed in jeopardy by the unborn child.

It was abnormally high and needs to be investigated. I’m supposed to believe more black people voted today for a special election for a lame duck senator in a red state then for Obama’s first election? Come the frick on. Something just feels off.

I think for this election, that is very high, especially when they were projecting 25%

Nailed it. This is exactly why I voted against Roy Moore. I vowed a long time ago to vote against Roy Moore for anything he ran for. I kept my vow today. If Mo Brooks had won the nomination then I would have voted for him, as would the majority of the state

Yea, something is very off if a known pedophile makes it this far in a race. Not really shocking so many people were motivated to vote against him.

Voting was high in Springhill I know and I heard was high in suburban areas like mountainbrook etc. We are usually 80-90% Republican but all I see here are Jones signs.
If for no other reason that everyone here travels a lot and just didn’t want to embarrassment

Did you not read what I said? I never said voter fraud, I said another guy said voter fraud.
I was simply commenting on the turnout. Which was very, very high for my polling station.

my brother-in-law voted at Spanish Fort City Hall around 4:30 and said the crowd was pretty big but well managed so the wait didn't take long.
they had a cop directing traffic at a church on Govt. Street near the Loop I saw on the way home from work today but there wasn't much of a hold up.
