Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has posted the entire transcript of closed-door testimony that Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson made to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Haven't read it yet but I'll bet $100 that it slams Trump

312 pages of testimony. Early reports saying that it was Steele's (and Steele's alone) idea to turn the dossier over to the FBI. Simpson also apparently alleges that the FBI told Steele there was a Trump campaign/org whistleblower that came forward to them.

Simpson claimed that the FBI informed Trump dossier author Christopher Steele that the bureau had a “walk-in” whistleblower “from within the Trump organization or campaign,” possibly on issues related to alleged collusion between the campaign and Russian officials.

A source close to Fusion GPS tells me there was no walk-in source -- that was a mischaracterization by Simpson of the Australian diplomat tip about Papadopoulis.

because the Gop members of the committee did not want it released.

That would make sense

From what I gather Papadopoulos was running his mouth off in front of a CIA agents in Rome.
Makes sense since he was trying to contact a professor with Russian ties somewhere in Italy.

An ex-KGB chief suspected of helping the former MI6 spy Christopher Steele to compile his dossier on Donald Trump may have been murdered by the Kremlin and his death covered up. it has been claimed.
Oleg Erovinkin, a former general in the KGB and its successor the FSB, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on Boxing Day in mysterious circumstances.
Erovinkin was a key aide to Igor Sechin, a former deputy prime minister and now head of Rosneft, the state-owned oil company, who is repeatedly named in the dossier.
Erovinkin has been described as a key liaison between Sechin and Russian president Vladimir Putin. Mr Steele writes in an intelligence report dated July 19, 2016, he has a source close to Sechin, who had disclosed alleged links between Mr Trump’s supporters and Moscow.
The death of Erovinkin has prompted speculation it is linked to Mr Steele’s explosive dossier, which was made public earlier this month. Mr Trump has dismissed the dossier as “fake news” and no evidence has emerged to support its lurid claims.

Wait I thought he was drunk in a bar with Aussie hookers?
It seems like he would get drunk and tell everyone about his "undercover work" and how important he was.
