Feeling for all the Vets and war heros today

My Dad's father was in one of the first divisions to cross the Rhine River on his 21st birthday, as the Allies sieged Berlin. My other Grandpa lost his hearing in the Pacific theater on a battleship.
I would hate for them to be alive to see what this country has become and what all their friends sacrificed their lives for.
I'm not sure how I would feel if I would have served in one of these Middle East boondoggles the past 30 years, knowing all I had done was fought for the likes of Klaus Schwab, George Soros, Bill Kristol, and Joe Biden to become more powerful.
There's no way I would fight for this kleptocratic government or send my sons to die for the globalists.

One of my sons wanted to join the marines not long after 9-11.
I had a suspension at the time that something wasn't right although i supported the wars.
Glad i talked him out of it. God forbid i would have lost him for the benefit of the Deep State.

The retreat from Afghanistan almost sent me over the edge. 20 years of fighting and we accomplished nothing...not one damn thing. I lost close friends in Afghanistan and Iraq and it infuriates me knowing that their lives and futures were sacrificed for absolutely NOTHING. My personal injuries will stay with me for the remainder of my life. All for NOTHING.
So yeah...we care. frick all politicians.

Once again we are set to waste the lives of valiant men for the lusts of evil politicians.
Such a tragedy.
Such a tragedy.

Speaking from experience, I was sent to Iraq when I was maybe 21 years old. Most of us didn't care about politics at that age. We didn't know what the frick was going on in the world. It does all feel like a waste now which is definitely not a good feeling after seeing so much human suffering.

That’s depressing as hell to read.

Huge difference between idiots and the evil that is going on right now

Wife and I are vets. We just kinda shrug. Saw a lot of shite that made us quite jaded. Brass/politicians are WAY out of touch with the rank and file. Hence why we left the military and decided to start a family.

There is no scenario where either of my kids will EVER take up arms in defense of this country…at least not under this type of “leadership”.

I know plenty of active in former military that think Joe Biden is an idiot.

If I felt the cause was worthy, such as a president like Trump comes back and needs a couple hundred thousand volunteers to go defend our border, I would happily go and risk my life for a cause like that. Just not for some globalist MIC boondoggle to benefit the CFR and WEF freaks.

It is pretty sickening to see, but tough times create tough men, and we are definitely in for some tough times. For the near future, if any of the kids we foster thinks about joining the military I will do everything in my power to point them in a different direction.
I personally joined about a year before 9/11, and I'm better for it. I don't regret anything from my enlistment, but after returning from Afghanistan my enlistment was up so I got out. When I got out, it was the first time since our family came here before the Civil War that a Richmond was not in the military. While it greatly benefitted me professionally, with the way our government and the world is right now, the risks far outweigh the benefits and that is a sad thing.

Were you enlisted or in the Border Patrol from 2016-2020?

I watched Last Flag Flying the other day. I was going to pass on it because Steve Carell is in it.. but it turned out to be a very good movie, on this very subject
