Feeling better than a couple weeks ago

I sense the tide of insanity is finally subsiding. First the Harper Letter then Bari Weiss' take down of the NYT. Now, the way the Feds are surgically going after the rioters, and the predictable melt from the Pelosi and the left. Americas are not stupid, Nancy. They see through the bull shite.
I doubt the person who posted the below YT video expected the responses he/she/it (gotta be woke) got. I'm sure all have seen most of the footage.
It's the comments that warm my frustrated heart.

As others here note, it's still ongoing, it's just that as mentioned, in terms of Indies and Swings, due to the violence and anarchists, it's backfiring politically, thus muzzled by the DNC and MSM.
Sure, the Harpers signed letter article & Weiss OpEd got some play, and plea by the adults in the room, and to attempt calm their old Blue Dog base from defecting..
But, the romper room radicals are still out there doing their BSC routine.

That is a great way to frame it. A few weeks ago, the adults were completely silent. At least they are threatening a possible timeout now.
My biggest fear is the adults on the left don't get their romper room brats under control before November, and if/when Trump wins, the brats will throw a tantrum that makes the late 60's and summer 2020 look like peaceful protests.

I don't watch or listen to MSM. I do listen to both left and right alternative media, and meld their stories together. That will give you leads to local news stations, and some of those do actual journalism.
From all that, IMO it seems outside of Portland and Seattle, things have backed off to ludicrous from insane.
It's strange how the more information that is available, the harder it is to find the truth.

As satisfying as that would be, not sure it wold help matters. I'd hope for Jules' revelation and seek peace, only whipping out the blowtorch as a last resort.

I'm well aware. But those of us here ranting about it are just screaming in an echo chamber (which is really dangerous).
I have spoken to neighbors, old co-workers (I'm retired), etc. But most importantly, I've explained with clear logic to family that are full kool-aid why I believe as I do. I think I might have at least gotten my sister to think a little. She's 56, my niece and nephew are full on brainwashed and nearing 30, and she wants to be a cool Mom and still supports them. Reaching those enablers and convince them to come to their senses strikes at the rotten root of our infected society.
At least that's what I tell myself as I watch the country I love go into a irrecoverable tailspin.
I suspect I will be worm food before this ends. And my last thought will be "Could I have done more to prevent this pear shaped abomination?"
