Per FoxNews so no link yet.
I guess this wasn’t just an “arse whipping over landscaping” as the libtards and lawyer claim. This is jut another case of leftist violence against a sitting member of Congress.
We need to close the regressive loophole and have common sense democrat control
ETA- Rand Paul retweeted these 2 articles today disputing the landscaping lie

It should be no different than attacking a fellow citizen.

Agreed. As a whole, democrats should be punished for the violence their party has caused recently. No Starbucks for a whole month!!

18 U.S. Code § 351
At minimum.
At minimum.

If you perform the act knowingly and because of their legislative role, you should be punished more harshly.

When will violent Democrats stop trying to kill and maim Republican lawmakers? When will Democratic lawmakers disavow their violent and murderous followers?

If it can be determined that they were targeted soley for their position, I can see that. That feels like a rather high standard, as it should be.

It should be a higher standard, but they might have a case if this guy was active on social media.

Unless it was a politically motivated attack I agree. But I would also expect a harsher charge and punishment if I went after someone, from the local to the national level, just because of some vote/legislation/overall political affiliation.
Sure, if he kicks my dog, calls my chick ugly, spits in my face, etc., he gets an arse whupping like anyone else.
