FBI Director Christopher Wray told the federal surveillance court in a letter Friday that he “deeply regrets” the bureau’s many errors in the process to obtain surveillance warrants on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
“The FBI has the utmost respect for this Court, and deeply regrets the errors and omissions identified by the OIG,” Wray wrote in a letter to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC).
A judge on the FISC ordered the FBI on Dec. 17 to respond by Friday with a roadmap on how the bureau plans to address the problems identified in a Justice Department inspector general’s (IG) report regarding applications for warrants to wiretap Page.

“FBI personnel will be instructed on the errors and omissions that were made in the Carter Page FISA applications and associated processes,” Wray said.
The training will include a test “to confirm that personnel understand the expectations and the materials,” as well as certification for FBI employees who have completed the training, he added.
Wray set April 30 as a deadline to complete the training.

Trump surely has some blind spots appointing that assbag as director. Better to interview field agents to promote based on commitment to drain the swamp than some career invested a-hole like this untrustworthy dickhole.

We were corrupt, but it will happen again and we’ll set more goals, then...

Whew!
Glad that’s taken care of!

They'll probably give him an award for this. "The hard nosed Director who selflessly took on the task of repairing the reputation of the FBI."

Sooooo knowing that it is bad to manipulate/plant evidence, lie by omission, withhold exculpatory evidence and not follow already existing protocols and procedures will get you a fricking certificate in todays FBI......the world's premiere law enforcement agency.

Hey Cajun,
Want salt in the wound, guess who signed the letter from the FBI telling the FISC they would do the training....Dana Boente one of the signers of the fake FISA warrant.
I cringe for my country's govt when I think there is a just God....

I work in health care. I have seen people fired for HIPPA violations, as they should be.
But the FBI violating rights of US Citizens? Wray proposes training. What a damn joke.

I remember when Democrats dogged Trump out for saying he wasn't wire tapped. I don't see any apologies.

"ERRORS" my arse! Liar. Obstructer of Justice. A mockery of His Oath. Should be called out and fired asap.

I saw that starting on page 18 or so. Obama's appointed Dana_Boente's signature. I have seen his name as Dane and Dana. It is odd.
I can almost hear Graham at his hearing say these measures have been taken by Wray. He probably already did but his next hearing will be Graham reading the Durham report out loud gasping at the crimes as disgusting and how this will never happen again to any President (other than one they don't like -an outsider- pinky swear) This is ridiculous. The fox guarding the hen house has got to end.
Is DC so swampy that the clean-up cover thy arse man is never ending? It is controlled that most don't get in w/o the votes. This and tenure are the problem. These frickers can blow up a neighborhood and light their a-hole hairs on fire naked while killing women and babies...and they keep their jobs by golly. Because they work for the govt and they are here to help.

More lunch-and-learns. Attendance not mandatory, but encouraged.

That’s because the health care company can be sued in to oblivion. The Fed Gov? They just say “oopsies!!!”
What’s more fricked up - your HIPPA violations were likely true negligence. Whereas the FISA abuses were intentional.
No amount of training will fix ill intention. You have to fire these assholes.

They will be forming a committee to rectify the issue and then another committee will form to study the first committee, and then a committee in Costa Rica on training will review both committees on whether they were more careful with govt phones; when they all were fighting to get poon tang and most especially Lisa's Va Jay Jay.

For the life of me I don't get tha anti-FBI hatred on this board.
They make mistakes, who doesn't? But this villification I read here is beyond the pale.

As if the people who did it were somehow unaware they were being crooked.
You can't train out INTENTIONAL misconduct
