I guess the mom doesn't work?

Do people no longer have emergency funds(s)?

Read Here

quote:

“It really has impacted our life a lot,” said Jason Rozanski, ineligible for food stamps after stimulus check, “We were basically to the point where we were going to have to start going to our church to ask for food boxes”?
?
Jason Rozanski said he had to turn to food stamps to feed his family of six. Which includes his fiancé Rachel and four boys.?

quote:

Rozanski’s fiancé Rachel doesn’t qualify for unemployment so this family of six is living off one unemployment check.?
?
“As a mom its scary so you kind of go into survival mode and I don’t like having to go into survival mode,” said Rachel Reeder, Ronzanski’s Fiancé.?

I wouldn't think the boost on UE would be affecting SNAP benefits THAT quickly. How often are SNAP benefits reviewed?

You’d be amazed how many folks live check to check. And even folks who make a fair bit don’t always have as much cash as you’d think.

Anecdotally, I knew an attorney whose household income was over $200K, and they didn’t have $10k cash to do a mortgage refinance when rates dropped a few years ago.

They are doing this all wrong:

She should claim to be single.
She will then qualify for all sorts of shot including section 8 housing.
He can claim to not live there.
He works a normal job. They live like kings and queens they are.

And you should. Ask your family and your support groups like churches for assistance when you are in a time of need instead of putting out your hand to the tax payer.

This void was long filled by non-governmental entities before the Fed decided to become a charity.

Government is not and should never be considered charity. That should be up to the private sector.

Just read these two lines and try to make sense of it

quote:

Rozanski said the added money to the unemployment check made it so they could catch up on bills and get back on track.

So taking away their SNAP benefits is just another setback.

So they are presumably getting MORE free money than they were getting before. They decided to use it on the car payment instead of food. And now wonder why they dont get stacking benefits.

They are retards. Easy answer.

I understand that. My question was how did it affect their SNAP benefits THAT quickly. The boost in UE just started a couple weeks ago. Unless it just happened at the same time as re-qualifying for the SNAP benefits, it seems a bit weird that they got rolled up in it that fast.

Churches are struggling right now, and some legit may not survive this. When millions are losing jobs, that monthly check to the church is on the top of the list for spending reductions.

Plus, many churches run pre-schools that are currently not bringing in revenue, and those preschools were actually a major revenue source

She is single. Hell, she may claim to be homeless. She probably technically qualifies.

They need a hood rat consultant to teach them how to properly “get they money”.
