Yesterday I received wedding invitations from my cousin in Houston. On the invitation, they ask that you get vaccinated or test negative on a COVID test that week. It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if someone was checking vaccination status at the door. Screw that! It’s sad knowing how many people have bought into the lie and take everything Fauci and the media says as gospel. The goalposts will always move.

You know, we vacationed with them back in July and had a great time. They’ve always been there for us and vice versa, but this whole charade is pitting family against family, and it’s exactly what the left wants (Biden-“ I understand your anger towards the unvaccinated”). Who knows? They probably already view us as irresponsible, subhuman, selfish vermin.

God forbid someone tell them that their vaccinated guests can still be positive and pass the virus.

They've lost their patience with you.

The feeling is mutual, I’m sure.

If you are an idiot, I will only indulge you for so long and at so much cost to myself.

Show up unvacced and crash the party. Make a small scene and let them live the rest of their marriage second guessing their dumb ways.

Or just take a test.

Or don't go.

Option 2 might be best given how frustrated you sound going into it.

I'd be more ok if a negative test was required for everything.

At least that shite would make sense.

People thinking I am pro vaccine are wrong.

I can understand people demanding masks. Anyone demanding proof of a Covid shot or a negative test to attend a wedding will be getting a box full of shite, literally, as a present.

That’s what I’ll probably do. The invitation did say if you feel ill that day not to come for the safety of everyone else. I’d rather enjoy a Saturday outdoors anyway than get frustrated about the situation and go.

who cares? You obviously don't want to go, and if you don't vaccinate, they don't want you there.

I feel like putting it on the invitation is politely letting you know their feelings. And yet you are getting mad at their opinion on how they want to have their own wedding.

I'm glad I don't have any siblings so I won't have to shoot my retarded liberal brother when the civil war arrives.
